Really strong Amazon Prime Day headphone deals are amongst what we'd call a sure thing at Amazon's big sale event. Amazon Prime Day is returning once again for October under the name Prime Big Deal days, and just like the summer event and last year's members-only October sale, we're expecting big things from the likes of Bose, Sony, Apple, Jabra, and more.
We've covered enough Prime Days, Black Fridays, and all the other big sale events over the years, to know a great deal when we see one and know which ones to recommend and which ones have seen better prices and you should hold off on. So even with Black Friday not far behind this October event, we'll be on hand to pick out the best bargains through Amazon's 48-hour sale.
Let's take a quick look at some of the best Prime Day headphone deals we saw in the July version of the sale just to give you an idea of the prices that might make a comeback in October. Apple fans were spoilt for choice with $50 off the AirPods Pro 2, AirPods 2 down to $89, AirPods 3 reduced to $139, and you could even save $100 on the AirPods Max. Sony's XM4 headphones were $102 off at $248, but we're hoping the Black Friday price of $228 will be beaten in October, especially as the newer XM5 will eventually phase out the older (but still brilliant) noise-canceling headphones. The Beats Studio Buds were another popular pick with a massive $60 saving as Amazon discounted them to $90.
If you're looking for some headphone deals sooner rather than later, here are a few of our favorites we've spotted today. If you can hold out until mid-October though, you might see a better price.

Sony's flagship noise-cancelling headphones with premium sound elevate your listening experience with the ability to personalize and control everything you hear. Even with the newer XM5 model out now, these are still amongst the best headphones you can buy and are an excellent value.

When is Amazon Prime Day?
Amazon Prime Day in the summer was July 11 and 12. The October event will be a similar sale and the exact dates have yet to be confirmed, but we're expecting it to land around the middle of the month.
Do you need a Prime Membership to access this year's deals?
