Amazon Prime Day is drawing to a close, which means you don't have much time left to grab a pair of Apple AirPods for record-low prices. Whether you're upgrading from older headphones or just buying another pair, now is the time to splurge on a pair of Apple's massively popular earbuds.
A pair of standard AirPods (2nd generation) are down to $90, just $10 north of their all-time-low Black Friday price. And the newer AirPods (3rd generation) are at a record low $140.
Meanwhile, a pair of noise-cancelling AirPods Pro (2nd generation) are down to $199, another record low price. And the AirPods Max, Apple's highest-end headphones, are $100 off, bringing them down to a much more affordable $450.
These are rare deals on premium Apple products. But they aren't sticking around forever! At midnight PT tonight, these deals disappear, so act now if you want to save money.

Which AirPods should I buy?
Not sure which to buy? We consider the AirPods Pro (2nd generation) the best AirPods for most people. They offer great sound quality and fit, and their noise cancellation features are fantastic. Battery life is only average, but considering how fast they charge, that's an acceptable drawback.
If you're on a budget, consider the standard AirPods, either 2nd or 3rd generation. Sound quality isn't as good, especially in the 2nd generation buds. But they're still easy to use and offer hands-free Siri access.

And if you're a true audiophile — and have the cash to spare — check out the high-end AirPods Max. These have the best sound quality, and the soft cups feel amazing on your ears. Their biggest drawback is the price, which makes Prime Day the best time to buy them.
Do you need to buy AirPods if you own an iPhone? Not necessarily. Plenty of the sets featured in our best Prime Day headphone deals guide will work flawlessly with any Apple device. But AirPods are designed for Apple users, giving you seamless hands-free Siri and quicker, more reliable switching between iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks.
