You can do a lot with a Mac laptop on its own, but with the right accessories, you can do a lot more, and better.

Whether it's a Pro model or the Air, below is a list of 15 accessories that beautifully complement any Mac laptop to maximize its functionality and your productivity at home on a desk or out and about, like the Logitech MX Master 3S for Mac mouse, the Satechi USB-C hub, and the Mophie Powerstation Pro XL backup battery.

Logitech

The Logitech MX Master 3S for Mac offers the perfect balance of comfort, features, connectivity, and accuracy. It works on nearly every surface, even glass, and has a 70-day battery life on a single charge with the included USB-C cable. If you run out of juice, a single minute of charging will get you back to clicking for three hours. It connects to Mac laptops over Bluetooth, so there's no dongle required. You can also quickly switch the connection between three different devices if you use a mouse with a tablet or another computer.

Some love the trackpad for swiping, clicking, and scrolling, and Apple's built-in laptop trackpads are the best there is. The Magic Trackpad brings Apple's legendary trackpad outside the confines of your laptop and on your desk, and it offers the same accuracy and functionality as the built-in trackpad.

For $15 less than Apple's Magic Keyboard, the Keychron K1 SE offers the satisfying mechanical keyboard experience that Apple's keyboard can't match. Unlike the usual chunky mechanical keyboard, the Keychron K1 SE has a slim profile, with sleek keycaps and slim-profile mechanical switches. It's connects to Macs over Bluetooth, too.

Anker 737 GaNPrime 120W Charger

Anker 737 GanPrime 120W charger can charge an Apple Mac laptop at full speed while charging a phone and an accessory at the same time, like earbuds or a smartwatch.
Anker

Unlike the iPhone, Apple is still including chargers with its Mac laptops, which is nice. But the charger that comes with your laptop isn't necessarily the best, or the fastest, especially if you have a MacBook Air. Anker's 737 GanPrime charger can output up to 120W, and I found that it can charge an M2 MacBook Air at 100W compared to the 30W charger it comes with. The Anker 737 also has two USB-C ports and a single USB-A port to charge other devices, like a phone, tablet, earbuds, or smartwatch compared to the single USB-C port on Apple's chargers.

The Anker 643 USB-C to USB-C Cable 100W is an upgrade over the charging cable that came with your Mac for its premium soft-touch silicone look, durability, and color options. Anker claims it has a 25,000-bend lifespan, which I haven't put to the test, but I can attest it's tough after several encounters with my toddler.
