You can also quickly switch the connection between three different devices if you use a mouse with a tablet or another computer.
Some love the trackpad for swiping, clicking, and scrolling, and Apple's built-in laptop trackpads are the best there is. The Magic Trackpad brings Apple's legendary trackpad outside the confines of your laptop and on your desk, and it offers the same accuracy and functionality as the built-in trackpad.
For $15 less than Apple's Magic Keyboard, the Keychron K1 SE offers the satisfying mechanical keyboard experience that Apple's keyboard can't match. Unlike the iPhone, Apple is still including chargers with its Mac laptops, which is nice. But the charger that comes with your laptop isn't necessarily the best, or the fastest, especially if you have a MacBook Air. Anker's 737 GanPrime charger can output up to 120W, and I found that it can charge an M2 MacBook Air at 100W compared to the 30W charger it comes with. The Anker 737 also has two USB-C ports and a single USB-A port to charge other devices, like a phone, tablet, earbuds, or smartwatch compared to the single USB-C port on Apple's chargers.
The Anker 643 USB-C to USB-C Cable 100W is an upgrade over the charging cable that came with your Mac for its premium soft-touch silicone look, durability, and color options. Anker claims it has a 25,000-bend lifespan, which I haven't put to the test, but I can attest it's tough after several encounters with my toddler.
You could go either way with monitors depending on your budget and what you need it for. This 27-inch Dell monitor with 4K resolution is a solid mid-ranger with mid-range pricing that complement's you Mac's display and premium vibes.
A simple, inexpensive stand made of premium metal is an excellent way to keep your Mac laptop off your desk and raise the screen to make it more comfortable for your neck. It pairs beautifully with the Keychron K1 SE keyboard and Logitech MX Master 3S for Mac mouse I mentioned earlier.
The Macally Vertical Laptop Stand is ideal if you don't want to use its built-in monitor and use your own monitor on a desk. It keeps your Mac laptop on your desk without letting it occupy much space. The brackets are padded with soft anti-scratch padding, and they're adjustable for Macs of different thicknesses.
Satechi makes high-end accessories that compliment Mac laptops exceedingly well. The company has countless options of USB-C adapters with a variety of ports for different users and needs. A good and inexpensive starting point is the Slim Aluminum Type-C Multi-Port Adapter V2 that offers two USB-A ports, an HDMI port that supports 4K monitors up to 60 frames-per-second, microSD and SD card ports, and a USB-C Power Delivery port that delivers up to 60W of charging power. Just note that the adapter's USB-C port doesn't transfer data, but you can use the other USB-C port on your Mac laptop if you need to transfer data over USB-C.
