This is a standard MagSafe charger. If you've ever owned an Apple Watch, it works a lot like the Watch's charger: It's a magnetic puck that latches onto the back of your iPhone and wirelessly charges it.
Wireless MagSafe chargers tend to be much more convenient than traditional wired charging cables, since all you need to do is place your iPhone down onto the charger.

The biggest issue with MagSafe is that if there's too much material between the charger and your iPhone, it's hard for power to transfer through it. That's why you need to look for iPhone cases that specifically state they have MagSafe — like these three cases made directly by Apple.
Apple sells three different MagSafe cases, each with its own style and selection of colors.
First, take a look at the iPhone 14 Clear Case with MagSafe. Like the name implies, this case is totally transparent, save the white MagSafe ring on the back. This is great if you want to keep your iPhone safe without hiding the phone's body. Insider Reviews reporter Antonio Villas-Boas reviewed the Clear Case back in May, and said it was one of the best plastic cases he's ever used.
If you're looking for something more durable, try the iPhone 14 Silicone Case with MagSafe. This isn't clear like the previous option, but is thicker and offers more protection. It comes in eight different colors, including Lilac pink, Midnight black, and (PRODUCT) red.
And if you want a mix of durability and style, consider the iPhone 14 Leather Case with MagSafe. This case is made of tanned leather, and easily stretches out to protect your entire iPhone. Like all leather, it'll wear out over time and start to show creases over time — but until then, it's definitely the best looking of Apple's cases.
Most portable battery packs are like a ball-and-chain for your phone: Heavy bricks that you need to link to your iPhone with a cable and carry separately.
Apple's MagSafe Battery Pack tries to solve this. Instead of a separate brick, the MagSafe pack latches onto the back of your iPhone and sticks there for as long as you need it, wirelessly charging. It adds less than an inch of extra mass, but can extend your iPhone's battery life by about 50%.
To recharge the pack, just latch it onto your iPhone and then plug in your iPhone. The charger will give energy to both your iPhone and the battery pack at the same time.
Lose your wallet a lot? You could buy a separate tracker like a Tile or an AirTag — or you could invest in an iPhone Leather Wallet with MagSafe.
This thin wallet latches magnetically to the back of your iPhone. Apple says it can hold up to three cards at once, and it's shielded so your iPhone's magnets won't mess with those cards.
While the wallet's magnets are pretty strong, if it does ever fall off and get lost, you're in luck. The wallet is Find My-compatible, so you can always track down its location using the Find My app on your iPhone.
In the past, most screen protectors were thin plastic sheets that were hard to place and usually trapped some ugly air bubbles. These days, screen protectors are stronger, prettier, and easier to use.
Belkin in particular makes great UltraGlass Screen Protectors for the iPhone 14. These are slabs of tempered glass that lay on top of your iPhone's screen, shielding it from dust and damage. They come in two sizes: One size for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, and another for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The sheet is less than 0.2 inches thick, meaning that you'll almost never notice a difference — until you inevitably drop your iPhone and find the screen left without a scratch.
OtterBox, meanwhile, has a set of Amplify Glass Glare Guards that do more than just protect your screen.
In addition to protecting against scratches, the OtterBox glare guards let you see your iPhone's screen even under the brightest sun. This allows you to turn your iPhone's brightness down, meaning that you'll save battery life in the process.
Like the UltraGlass protectors, they come in two sizes: One size for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, and another for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
